LEFT TO RIGHT : Phil Hendriks (lead vocal, guitar)
; John "Juice" Mayor (drums,vocals);
Mark Hurlbut (bass); Ian "Strang" Barnes
(guitar,vocals); John Wade (guitar,vocals)
In late 1984 Phil Hendriks and Ian Barnes teamed up with original
STIFFS,
Tommy O`Kane and John McVittie for a supposed one-off re-union gig.
A plan was also hatched to record a single with the same line-up.
A recording date was set in early January 1985 but unfortunately
neither
O`Kane nor McVittie were available for the session. Mayor and Hurlbutt
agreed
to step in for the session which subsequently produced the "Young
Guitars" single.
John Wade became the fifth member shortly afterwards and played
on the flipside.
The line-up recorded only 2 more songs ; the "as yet " unreleased
"Rocket ship"
and "In your world". John Wade, left in 1986 to form the MIRACLE
BIRDS,
followed shortly afterwards by Hurlbutt who was replaced by John
McVittie.
McVittie and Mayor quit in late `86 ( just to confuse you !!!).
