Blondied have recorded a version of Blondie`s ''Rapture'' for a forthcoming 'Various Artists' release on German Punk label 'Trash' Records, entitled 'Our small tribute to Blondie'. On the same album, Michelle also sings some backing vocals on'Just go away' which features Phil Hendriks from The Stiffs, Mick Rossi from Slaughter & The Dogs, Ian McCallum of Stiff Little Fingers and Dave Philp of the Automatics . The track was mixed in L.A. by producer Jim Wirt, (much respected for his work with Incubus and Hoobastank) and will appear under the frankly ridiculous nom-de-plume of 'The Stiff-O-Matic Fingers'. The album is scheduled for release 26th September 2005. |
